The Basin Music Festival - 19, 20, 21 March 2027

As a festival helper you contribute to a team environment where you can use and build your skills to create a fun, safe and supportive experience, celebrating the community and showcasing musical talents of all ages.

The festival is funded through grants, sponsorships, donations and member subscriptions, yet our budget is limited. With the exception of specific contracted professionals needed for critical functions, all other festival personnel are volunteers, including committee members. With this in mind, we offer you an opportunity to develop skills in managing an association, communications, project management and production (sound and lighting) of live music performances.

Click here to go to the expression of interest form where you can select the roles you are interested in and provide your contact details. A member of the committee will reach out to you for a chat and to explain the role to you in more detail.

Our Aboriginal heritage

The Basin Music Festival Association acknowledges, respects and shares in the customs of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, traditional custodians of the land on which we hold The Basin Music Festival, and pay our respects to their elders past and present.
We extend that same respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, members of the oldest living culture in the world .
